This Thursday October 19th at 3:30 pm Professors Ziad Abu-Rish and Sophia Stamatopoulou-Robbins will be hosting a discussion titled "Critical Perspectives on the War in Gaza". The event will begin with a set of interventions by the panelists, followed by an open floor for questions.
It is critical that every possible person attend. We as SJP need to show out in order to prove that Bard students want to learn about Palestine and that we care enough to take this education into our own hands outside of prescribed class time.
Large attendance will also support our efforts to meet one of SJP's demand that "Apartheid in Israel/Palestine" be taught annually at Bard and that students care enough to learn wherever opportunities are provided.
The event will be held in RKC 103.
